Originally located further West on PCH it goes back to 1920. Malibu Inn was a hotspot for the biggest names in Hollywood. through the 1930s and 40s. In the early 1950s it moved to it’s last location, across from Malibu Pier where it was briefly owned by singer/songwrighter Neil Young, during which time it was called Crazy Horse Saloon.
Legends such as The Doors, The Beach Boys and Jimi Hendrix are said to have played at Malibu Inn during it’s heyday.
