Paradise Cove is land that was once the beach home of the Chumash Indian tribe and is the final resting place of many of thier ancestors. Also many Chinese people were smuggled ashore here in the late 1800s when it was known as “Smugglers Cove”.

In the early 1900s the Ringe family, who also owned the Malibu Pier owned the Cove, and built their own private railroad from their ranch to the pier to transport hides and grain. This was before PCH was built. Eventually Paradise Cove was sold to the Morris Family. Many famous people have been photographed here such as Marilyn Monroe.

Welcome to Paradise Cove
